Reverend Six Gun
The Reverend Six Gun breathes new life into the traditional American classic electric guitars. Blending the best of both the S-Style and T-Style instruments, the Six Gun has a retro/contemporary aesthetic with modern accoutrements that are vital to proper intonation, tuning stability, and playability. To start, the Reverend Six Gun features a solid Korina body with a maple neck and choice of rosewood or maple fingerboards. This combination of wood produces a lively, resonant tone that is articulate and dynamically responsive in the extreme. Warmer and fuller than the vintage counterparts, the Reverend Six Gun is loaded with a Reverend T-Style single coil in the bridge and two Reverend S-style single coils in the middle and neck positions. The 5-way switch allows access to all three pickups as well as the quacky “in-between” tones made famous by legendary blues and rock players.
Like all Reverend guitars, the Six Gun features the revolutionary Bass Contour Control that allows low end to be rolled off of the output signal. Besides this, the BCC also re-voices the pickups so the vintage tones we all crave can be had by rolling off the BCC while bypassing it yields ballsy, fundamental-rich sounds that are powerful and distinct. Each Reverend Six Gun features a 12” fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets atop a medium “C” neck profile for a classic feel with smooth bends. The bridge is a Wilkinson tremolo that is stable and smooth and always returns to neutral when released. Coupled with the Reverend Pin-Lock tuning machines, the Reverend Six Gun ensures the guitar stays in tune even under the most demanding tremolo use. The Reverend Six Gun is a modern classic geared toward the player that craves vintage tone with a little more on top for versatility. Blues, country, jazz, rock, rockabilly tones and more are easily accessible with the Reverend Six Gun. This is a guitar for any versatile musician and features the same high quality and low price that put Reverend Guitars on the map.
